Red Malaysian is one of our newest red kratom powder strains available for retail. Due mostly to our already large selection of red kratom powders, we have not previously offered Red Malaysian kratom for retail. However, in the interest of truly offering a full Kratom Collection, we have decided to make Red Malaysian kratom powder available. We do have some wholesale clients who do really well with this particular variety. Red Malaysian kratom powder is made from the finely powdered leaves of red-veined kratom. Red-veined kratom leaves are usually older than their lighter colored counterparts, meaning they have been on the plant longer. More intense light is among the factors that can also make the veins turn red more easily. The vein color can affect the ratio of alkaloids within the profile of alkaloids in the leaf, even though there is no direct correlation to higher overall alkaloid content with any specific vein color. Red Malaysian is known also as Red Malay. The genetics of Malaysian kratom are derived from Malaysia. With kratom being banned in Malaysia, the Malaysian kratom that makes its way to the U.S. can only be from kratom plants that came from Malaysia that are grown on Indonesian kratom farms.
